Lizard Interactive's fantasy-themed persistent state world now available in North America with no mandatory fees
In Platonis, knights are called Fighters. Their backgrounds vary, from underprivileged to nobles; anyone who is intelligent and strong can join. Tall, masculine and handsome, they are trained in both combat arts and magic, and can also learn about other fields such as philosophy, politics and history. Outside their own tribe, little is known about the mysterious Valkyries. They look like women, but it isn't clear if they are human or not. What is obvious is their skill in close combat. Typically armed with light weapons, they attack with tremendous speed that makes them extremely difficult to counter. Those who wish to become Magicians must complete a grueling course of studies that takes 14 years. Although only the most gifted are even accepted, many give up and drop out. Fewer than half who enter the program actually manage to graduate.
Characteristically more than two meters in height, Savages are stalwart, strong, wild and physically daunting. From childhood, they have been taught to survive in and overcome harsh environments ranging from scorching heat to icy cold. From their ancestors, they learn powerful martial abilities, most of which are offensive in nature, using, axes, swords, hammers and lances rather than shields. These are the four classes you can opt to play in developer Lizard Interactive's cronous cro, a fantasy-themed persistent state world now available in North America through Gamengame.com. A few other features of note are special items that can improve and advance along with their owners, siege warfare emphasizing strategic elements, and various types of available quests. We recently had the chance to learn more by questioning Yei-Seock Kim, who is both the company's Vice President and the title's Global Service Producer.
Jonric: To begin the interview, what would you like to tell our readers about cronous cro? What kind of game is it, what does the play focus on, and what does the title mean?
Yei-Seock Kim: cronous cro is a traditional MMORPG with speedy game play and varied items. It has several unique systems such as siege warfare with an emphasis on strategic elements, and growth items that literally grows up with the player.
